Royal Winnipeg Ballet workers join MGEU as single unit
The Manitoba Labour Board approved Royal Winnipeg Ballet staff to join the MGEU as a single bargaining unit, enabling collective representation under Local 466.

On 8 Oct 2026, the Manitoba Labour Board approved the application of Royal Winnipeg Ballet workers to become a single bargaining unit under the Manitoba Government and General Employees’ Union Local 466.
The approval allows the ballet’s employees to be collectively represented by the MGEU through Local 466.
