Construction has started on an expansion of the Wellbriety Centre in Thompson, Manitoba, the largest local facility providing addiction treatment and homeless support. The work is intended to increase care for the people who need these services most.
The centre already functions as the province’s biggest hub for addiction and homelessness assistance, and the new build reflects a plan to broaden its capacity in the community.
