A Winnipeg farmer has expressed approval of a newly formed Royal Canadian Mounted Police unit that focuses on livestock theft and related fraud. The farmer’s property experienced a theft of sheep at the end of September, which led to the creation of the dedicated investigation team.
The RCMP unit was launched in response to that incident, aiming to address similar crimes in the area.
