The Boston Licensing Board will vote on October 29, 2026, on a request that would permit a Burlington Taco Bell franchisee to open a Taco Bell Cantina at 16 North Street, using a liquor license from a California Korean barbecue chain that has abandoned its Allston restaurant plan.
The Korean barbecue chain had planned a two‑story restaurant in a converted bank on Harvard Avenue in Allston but relinquished that project and agreed to sell its alcohol license to G.F. Enterprise, which intends to operate a 37‑seat Cantina at the North Street site.
The board’s approval will determine whether the license transfer proceeds.
