Boston will broaden its free Link shuttle bus service to include Roxbury, Mattapan and Charlestown, linking residents to Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority hubs. The expansion, slated for 2027, is funded by an $11.7 million federal grant and is being coordinated by the city and the MBTA.

The Link shuttle currently operates on Mission Hill. The added routes will connect the new neighborhoods with existing MBTA transit hubs, aiming to improve connections between residential areas and public transit.
