A vehicle was discovered on the Green Line E branch tracks near Vancouver Street, just beyond the Museum of Fine Arts on Huntington Avenue, at about 5:20 a.m. The presence of the car forced the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority to suspend service on the line.

The MBTA removed the car and restored train operations at 6:58 a.m. The Green Line E branch, which runs along Huntington Avenue, carries commuters into downtown Boston.

The incident blocked train movement until the obstruction was cleared, causing a brief interruption to the morning schedule.
