Investigators retrieved the cockpit voice recorder and a section of the cockpit from an air ambulance that crashed off the coast of Nantucket, Massachusetts on October 3, 2026. The aircraft was traveling from Bermuda to Boston and had six people on board.
The recovery came after a search effort that spanned more than 4,400 miles. Prior to the crash, the crew had reported electrical difficulties.
The find provides investigators with key evidence from the early‑October accident.
