A 50-year-old motorcyclist was pronounced dead after a collision on Interstate 190 northbound near mile marker 17.6 in Lancaster on Friday afternoon. The crash, which occurred at approximately 4:30 p.m., also left two drivers from separate cars with injuries.
According to Massachusetts State Police, the motorcycle struck two vehicles traveling in the same direction. Emergency responders arrived shortly after the incident was reported, securing the scene and providing medical care to the two injured drivers. Both were transported to Leominster Hospital for treatment.
The accident forced the closure of I-190 at the crash site for several hours while crews cleared debris and investigated the cause.
