The U.S. Postal Service announced that its Fields Corner branch in Boston will be temporarily closed on October 26, 2026 while the agency searches for a new location after its current lease expires.
The Boston Public Facilities Commission approved a five‑year lease for city land situated behind the post office, which the Postal Service will consider as a possible new site.
