Yankee Pest Control announced new training for its technicians and other service providers who regularly enter private homes, aiming to help identify potential human trafficking victims after a recent case in Malden, Massachusetts.
Galvin Murphy of the firm explained that workers such as pest‑control technicians, health‑care workers and other service providers are positioned to notice signs of trafficking and can notify law enforcement.
Investigators have noted that individuals who frequently access residences are able to observe indicators and assist authorities in identifying victims.
