A 22-year-old woman was shot on the 2800 block of West 23rd Street in Little Village on Saturday night at about 8:43 p.m. Police responded, treated her for a gunshot wound to the armpit and transported her to Mount Sinai Hospital.
At the hospital she was listed in critical condition before later succumbing to the injury.
