The Chicago Park District Board of Commissioners voted unanimously on Wednesday to extend CEO Carlos Ramirez‑Rosa’s contract through the end of 2029.
Board members said the extension demonstrates their confidence in his leadership of the agency.
Ramirez‑Rosa’s original contract was set to expire before the board approved the new term.
