The Chicago Public Schools inspector general is expected to issue findings in a reopened investigation concerning whether board president candidate Hilario Domínguez improperly contacted a 17-year-old girl in 2017.

The investigation, conducted by CPS investigators, included an interview with the woman, now 26, in September 2026 and a follow-up interview with Domínguez on Oct. 13, 2026.

The case focuses on alleged inappropriate contact between Domínguez and the minor, leading the inspector general to reopen the probe and prepare a decision.
