A recent study released by the To&Through Project together with the School Research Consortium indicates that students in Chicago Public Schools are now accumulating more college credits, graduating at higher percentages and enrolling in post‑secondary institutions more frequently than in prior years. Despite these gains, a substantial portion of those students continue to encounter obstacles that prevent them from completing a degree.
The report arrives amid a broader push by Chicago schools to strengthen college preparedness and support successful transitions to higher education for high‑school learners.
