On Monday, October 5, 2026, the Evanston Police Department announced that an undercover sting operation resulted in the arrest of a suspect believed to be connected to two recent groping and indecent exposure incidents that took place in Evanston and on the north side of Chicago.
The arrest follows reports earlier in the week of two separate groping and indecent exposure cases in suburban Evanston.
