A masked man armed with a gun robbed three lawn‑care employees in Englewood on the morning of September 28. The robber demanded the workers’ cell phones and wallets between 9:47 a.m. and 9:50 a.m. at the 5500 block of South Ashland Avenue and the 5500 block of South Union Avenue.
The suspect, described as wearing all‑black clothing, fled the scene in a vehicle after the robbery. Chicago police are actively searching for the individual.
The incident lasted approximately 20 minutes and involved three workers who were forced to surrender their belongings.
