An 18-year-old male was found unresponsive after being shot multiple times on the 400 block of West 61st Street in Englewood Friday morning at about 7:55 a.m. He was transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Area 1 detectives with the Chicago Police Department are investigating the shooting. The incident occurred in a neighborhood that has experienced frequent violent incidents.
