Two 17-year-old suspects were taken into custody and charged with aggravated vehicular hijacking after they carjacked a 56-year-old man on West Randolph Street in Chicago's Loop on Oct. 7, 2026. Police said the arrests occurred about 15 minutes after the incident on the first block of West Randolph Street.
The city police department filed the charges against the teens following the swift response to the reported carjacking.
