On Monday, 19 October 2026, forty newly elected members of the Quebec Liberal Party took the oath of office in the Red Room of the National Assembly in Quebec City, officially assuming their seats as the opposition bloc.
The swearing‑in follows the party’s performance in the 5 October election, where it more than doubled its legislative representation by winning ridings across Montreal, Laval, Outaouais, Montérégie and Estrie, prompting the ceremony.
