A large fire ripped through a residential building in Montreal's Saint‑Michel neighbourhood on October 19, prompting a massive emergency response.

Around 150 firefighters were deployed to the site, working to contain the blaze as dozens of crews battled the flames.

Three individuals were taken to hospital as a result of the incident.
