The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility announced that Highway 25 and the Louis‑Hippolyte‑La Fontaine tunnel will be shut for maintenance on the weekend of October 24–25, 2026. The closures will affect traffic traveling to and from Montreal and the South Shore.
The shutdown is required to carry out necessary maintenance work and related interventions on the highway and tunnel.
