Quebec announced new financial allocations for homelessness services in Montreal on October 21, 2026, and Mayor Valérie Plante said she welcomed the support.
The funding is aimed at providing additional resources to address homelessness in the city, with 12 elected officials present at the announcement.
The provincial allocation was made as Montreal and its surrounding municipalities took part in the Council of Ministers.
