Montreal rideshare driver Jibril Adamu has released his debut poetry collection, drawing directly from conversations and moments shared with passengers during his shifts.

Adamu writes poems that reflect the human connections and stories he encounters on the road, aiming to preserve those fleeting interactions in lyrical form. He has become known locally as “The Rideshare Poet,” a nickname that highlights his practice of turning everyday rides into literary material.
