On Oct. 16, 2026, the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal announced that two officers were suspended pending a misconduct investigation after new allegations of wrongdoing.

The suspensions were carried out at the downtown Montreal police station and are being processed through the department’s internal disciplinary procedure.
