Jibrin Adamu, a rideshare driver in Montreal, will release his first poetry collection titled “Ode to a Red Country Rooster” on October 31, 2026. The book follows eight years of writing while maintaining ten‑hour workdays behind the wheel.
Adamu has spent the past eight years balancing long rideshare shifts with his poetry, culminating in this debut publication.
The collection will be available in Montreal, marking the driver’s transition from daily rides to the literary scene.
