The Côte-des-Neiges–NDG borough said it will remove one side of the bike lane on Terrebonne Street for the winter of 2026, freeing about 60 parking spaces for residents while still allowing cyclists to use the remaining lane.

The adjustment follows a period of controversy surrounding the Terrebonne Street bike lane and is intended to balance resident parking needs with continued cycling access.
