The municipal housing office said it will remove roughly twenty vulnerable families from public housing units in the Rivière-des-Prairies neighbourhood in mid‑November, about three weeks after today.
The evictions are part of the office's demolition program that is targeting the housing complex and have already triggered a series of building removals.
The action will displace the families as the demolition wave continues across the area.
