On October 29, 2026, Chief Administrative Judge Joseph Zayas, together with Housing Court Judges Christel Garland and Kimon Thermos, appointed two new supervising judges for the Bronx and Brooklyn Housing Courts.
The appointments fill supervisory positions that had been vacant.
