A man was stopped by police on State Route 512 in Pierce County after he was recorded traveling at speeds above 100 mph. The driver then collided with a barrier and tried to seize another vehicle nearby.

Law enforcement indicated the suspect is believed to be under the influence and is also suspected of robbery.
