The Broward County Commission postponed its scheduled vote to shift oversight of the Regional 911 System from the sheriff's office to county administration on Tuesday.
The emergency communications system has traditionally been operated by the sheriff's office, and the commission was set to decide whether to transfer that responsibility to the county government.
