Forty members of the Quebec Liberal Party were sworn into the National Assembly during a ceremony in the Red Room of the parliament building in Quebec City on Oct. 19, 2026.
The oath‑taking follows the party’s surge in the Oct. 5 provincial election, where it recaptured ridings in Montreal, Laval, Outaouais, Montérégie and Estrie, raising its seat count from 18 to 40 and more than doubling its representation in the legislature.
