The New Jersey Department of Transit and Camden County Commissioners have partnered to implement a beautification plan on Route 70 in Camden County.
The plan upgrades gas and water mains, traffic signals, drainage, sidewalks and resurfaces the roadway. It includes 27 traffic signal upgrades, the installation of four dynamic message signs, and roughly nine miles of resurfacing.
Launched in 2022, the Route 70 beautification project aims to improve infrastructure and environmental quality for residents of Camden County, creating a greener environment.
