The upcoming municipal election in Scarborough North will see a field of eight candidates. Among them are the incumbent councillor and two former Liberal Party MPs, one of whom previously represented the ward while serving in Ottawa.

The race adds to the local contest for the council seat as residents prepare to vote in the municipal election.
