Ontario to Remove Etobicoke Bike Lanes Starting Oct. 13
The Ontario Ministry of Transportation will start pulling down bike lanes on Bloor Street West in Etobicoke on Oct. 13, 2026, using its authority to remove the designated segment.

The Ontario Ministry of Transportation announced that removal of the bike lanes on a section of Bloor Street West in Etobicoke will begin on October 13, 2026.
The province is exercising its authority over the roadway to eliminate the designated bike lane segment.
