More than 222,000 Toronto residents voted at advance polling stations during the 2026 municipal election, setting a new record for early participation. The advance voting period ran from October 6 to October 11, and the city reported 222,550 ballots cast, reflecting an increase of almost 48 percent compared with the previous election’s advance polls.
