Parents of students at The Grove Community School are protesting after the Toronto District School Board combined grades 4 and 5 into a single classroom and eliminated one of the school's five teachers.
The board's recent staffing reorganization at the west‑end alternative school resulted in the grade consolidation and reduction in teaching staff, which parents say is directly affecting students’ education.
