A Toronto teenager finished a 500‑kilometre charity walk on Monday, raising more than $60,000 for at‑risk youth served by Covenant House. The trek, which concluded on October 12, marked the final walk in a five‑year series that began when the teen was ten years old and has been held each Thanksgiving.

The fundraiser supports Covenant House’s programs for young people in need across the city. Over the course of the walk, the teen covered the full distance, completing the annual tradition that started in early childhood.
