Toronto residents are pressing mayoral candidates to make affordable housing a priority before the city’s upcoming municipal election.

The vote, scheduled to select a mayor for a four‑year term, features more than 50 candidates, and housing costs have risen to the top of voter concerns.

Among the individuals hearing these calls are Olivia Chow and Brad Bradford, who, along with other hopefuls, are being asked to present concrete solutions to the city’s affordability challenges.
