Early Monday morning, a watermain break forced the closure of Midland Avenue at Kingston Road in Scarborough, creating localized flooding. Toronto Fire Services and City of Toronto crews arrived at 4:20 a.m. and began work to isolate the break.
The break disrupted traffic along the avenue while municipal crews continue efforts to control the flooding and restore service.
