The Montgomery County Council met on Oct. 23, 2026 to review an inspector general investigation into alleged misconduct by former police chief Marc Yamada.
The council’s session was held to assess the findings of the probe that examined Yamada’s conduct while he led the county police department.
The investigation was carried out by the inspector general’s office, and the council’s review follows that prior inquiry.
